AIR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to direct and execute the current operations short range planning and reporting functions to include planning, scheduling, flight following and support to current, immediate, or pending flight operations. To develop and implement the 92d Air Refueling Wing's weekly aircrew flying, simulator, and alert schedules.

Schedules and coordinates all short range airlift mission planning and weekly flying schedules for the 921d Air Refueling Wing. Commits air refueling resources of/for the wing. Briefs the Weekly Flying Schedule to the Wing Commander, Deputy Wing Commander and Operations Group (OG) Commander, and Logistics Group (LG) Commander during the weekly scheduling review meeting. Briefs the Weekly Flying Schedule to the Wing Commander, Deputy Wing Commander and Operations Group (OG) Commander, and Logistics Group (LG) Commander during the weekly scheduling review meeting.
