1. In short

We collect what we need to run the site and help you find jobs. Anonymous usage data to improve the site. Saved jobs stored in your browser. When you apply to a job, your application goes to the employer you’re applying to. Details below.

2. What we collect

Analytics: anonymous page views and clicks, no personal identifiers. Saved jobs: a list kept in your browser's local storage; never transmitted to our servers. Contact form submissions: the email address and message you send us. Apply events: if you click Apply on a job, we record the click to measure what’s useful and to report engagement back to our feed partners (aggregated, not individually identifying you).

3. What we don’t collect

We don't track you across other sites. We don't build behavioural profiles for advertising. When you click Apply, that takes you to the employer's own site. We don't see or store the content of your application.

4. Who we share data with

Your application goes to the employer. Clicking Apply on Joboru takes you to the employer’s own site. What you submit there is between you and them. Anonymised engagement data (clicks, searches, applies) may be shared with our feed partners and measurement providers so we can bill accurately and improve the ranking. We don’t sell your contact details for advertising. If we introduce new data-sharing arrangements in the future, we’ll update this page and let you know.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and a privacy-friendly analytics cookie. See our Cookies page for details.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@joboru.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

Contact form emails: kept for 24 months, then deleted. Analytics: aggregate data retained for 14 months. Saved jobs: only in your browser, until you clear them.
