About the role


As a Customer Service Operations Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert on a variety of annuity policy questions and issues, providing support to both internal and external customers. In addition, you will be responsible for processing advanced transactions and performing account and plan maintenance.

In this role, you will be expected to master specific areas of knowledge including, IRS annual contribution limits, plan loan requirements, death claims, taxation regulations, 1035 exchanges, employer sponsored plans, etc. You will work frequently on complex issues with the Legal and Compliance Departments.

What you will do

  • Accurate and efficient processing of Financial and Non-Financial Transactions, including fund transfers, corrections
  • Handle more technical account changes (e.g. legal updates, internal transfers, account type changes, etc.)
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Provide varied support to include complex functions, assigned administrative programs and projects
  • Coordinate a broad variety of processes and activities
  • Serve as a contact and resource for customers; produce a wide variety of reports
  • Identify problems and relevant issues in complex situations, assessing each using past work experience to make sound decisions
  • Anticipate patterns and links; look beyond the immediate problem to wider implications
  • Generate new and innovative solutions to problems
  • Analyze and resolve varied problems; use initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines

Compensation


Hourly Range: $24.62 - $41.04 plus eligibility for a Company Annual Bonus

Who you are

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Five or more years of life insurance operations experience required
  • Advanced insurance knowledge required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
