Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation)

About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the ambulatory setting.

Complete request forms, manually or automated, for individual patient orders, blood work and other requests.

Maintain and monitor patient appointment schedules for the clinic/practice.

Coordinate and/or schedule patient appointments with other clinics or specialties.

Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
