Pharmacy Technician (Automation/Information)

About the Position: This position is located at WINN Army Medical Facility, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Assists the pharmacist in processing and managing all of the pharmacy's software and hardware.

Processes and dispenses prescriptions for legend and scheduled medications.

Assures that all equipment attachments and power support items are approved and are in compliance with existing regulations, directives, and vendor specifications.

Implements, evaluates, and utilizes established and accepted performance improvement practices for medication use.

Performs pharmacy functions, receives and reviews individual prescriptions to determine dosage form, strength and quantity of drug to be dispensed.
