Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

About the Position: This position is located within the Specialty Services Department at the Naval Health Clinic Everett, located in Washington. - A relocation incentive may be authorized. - Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. - Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Performs a full range of routine and complex radiographic examinations used for diagnostic interpretation.

Responsibilities include receiving, preparing, and positioning patients, selecting and adjusting technical factors and operating auxiliary equipment as needed.

Performs quality control functions and maintains radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with health and safety standards.

Performs administrative duties such as: receiving patients, scheduling examinations, and explaining procedures in person and by telephone.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
