Job Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals and beverages according to established menus and portion sizes.

Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all operational guidelines.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, staff, and visitors during meal times.

Monitor food quality and report any issues or shortages to the supervisor promptly.

Support team members in daily kitchen tasks and participate in routine cleaning and maintenance activities.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role.

Certification in food handling or food safety (e.g., ServSafe).

Familiarity with inventory management and kitchen equipment operation.

Experience working in an educational or institutional food service setting.
