GUM Graphics Editor

*All student employment positions on campus are covered by a negotiated contract with the Union of Grinnell Student Dining Workers (UGSDW).

The Graphics Editor is primarily responsible for the creation of graphics for the GUM print and web editions, as well as for posters another promotional materials. The Graphics Editor will be utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop), Sketch, or Figma.

Duties include:

Helping evaluate submissions as they come in over the course of the semester

Help brainstorm magazine structure, theme, and desired content

Create graphics for GUM print and web magazines and promotional material

Attend weekly GUM staff meetings

Additional duties as needed (mostly publishing and creative support)

Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Sketch, or Figma.
