SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND FUELS BRANCH of MCRD ERR PI SC.

You will resolve informal complaints and grievances, and initiate commendation and disciplinary actions as warranted.

You will manage, direct, and supervise the tracking of all hazardous substances/chemicals received, used, and disposed of aboard the installation utilizing automated DoD software programs.

You will research and submit usage data to DLA-Energy used to determine the Peacetime Operating Stock and Inventory Management Plan for the installation.

You will investigate cause, impact, and disposition of spills and reports to higher headquarters.

You will oversee excess and aging hazardous materials with the intent of reclamation, reuse and reissue of materials before they enter the Hazardous waste stream.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
