About the role

Primary Purpose
Coordinates analysis efforts across multiple projects and ensures adherence to standards. Drives collaboration between teams to deliver solutions that meet business priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manages a team through effective goal setting, performance management, and career development activities to ensure delivery of high-quality requirements.
Establishes standard methodologies, templates, and best practices for requirements gathering and documentation to improve consistency across projects.
Allocates business analyst resources across multiple projects based on skills, complexity, and organizational priorities to optimize team utilization.
Reviews complex business requirements documents and functional specifications to ensure quality, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
Coordinates regular communication between business units and IT development teams to facilitate mutual understanding of requirements and constraints.
Identifies skill gaps within the business analysis team and implements targeted training and development plans to enhance capabilities.
Participates in steering committee meetings for significant projects to provide insights on requirements status, risks, and dependencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Ability to assess analysis risks and escalate appropriately.
Required: Ability to balance delivery demands with team capability development.
Required: Ability to communicate analysis progress to management audiences.
Required: Knowledge of business systems analysis across related processes or applications.
