Health Insurance Technician

About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Review and process claims for medical and dental insurance billing.

Contact beneficiaries and/or external payers to resolve coverage issues.

Provide guidance to patients and staff on topics such as insurance policies, billing requirements and the department’s internal processes.

Follow-up and respond to unsatisfactory third party response inquiries such as claim denials, inadequate payment or non-response to bill to ensure maximum reimbursement to the hospital.

Assist the department’s leadership with process improvement and performance initiatives.
