About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Diagnostic Authoring Manager to provide strategic leadership for global governance, performance, and continuous improvement for STELLANTIS Diagnostic Tools. This role provides leadership across global diagnostic support, diagnostic quality, business systems, dealer enablement, diagnostic deployment, and program management to ensure a world-class experience for dealers, aftermarket customers, and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate drives cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Engineering, ICT, Aftersales, and regional organizations to deliver innovative diagnostic solutions that improve operational performance, dealer satisfaction, and business results

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Lead global governance for the scheduling of all wiTECH 2.0 Diagnostic Content releases. Each release is based on vehicle launch schedules, field issues and engineering development schedules. This requires continued monitoring of all vehicle programs in order to properly meet each vehicle launch with the required tool support.

· Lead the tracking for all new vehicle and new system development to determine proper level of diagnostic data in order to diagnose and repair vehicles issues.

· Lead North American Diagnostic Authoring team to ensure for each new vehicle program that all diagnostic deliverables are being met. These deliverables are as follows:

  • PM
  • AFS Budget Estimate
  • AFS Assessment for Innovative Topics
  • AFS Technical Impact Analysis
  • CM
  • AFS Funding Approval
  • SHRM
  • Input Data Received
  • Physical parts required for testing are identified
  • Specifications for Core Development are Received and delivered

· Lead global governance for Launch Readiness Reporting for all STELLANTIS vehicles.

· Responsible for Vehicle Configuration and PROXI. This is a two part process. First, it involves closely working with EE Systems engineers who maintain the documents that define the sales code logic for each configuration parameters for each of the vehicle lines. Second, once the configuration is determined for each vehicle line a configuration file is created and deployed for use by wiTECH 2.0.

· MOPAR Accessories. Work with the MOPAR accessories team in order to add wiTECH 2.0 support including Vehicle Configuration or PROXI updates for any new accessories.

· Responsible to lead team in support of mCDA (manufacturing repair bay tool) availability by VP-A for all STELLANTIS North American manufacturing plants. This is a critical operation that must be met in order to meet vehicle production requirements.

· Responsible to meet the legislative requirement for providing OEM scan tool data to the aftermarket. This includes working with the legal department to make sure all companies that purchase the diagnostic data have signed our license agreement and have the proper level of liability insurance.

· Responsible for managing the process that allows Aftermarket Tool companies to perform the Authenticated Diagnostic Access (ADA) unlock on SGW equipped Stellantis vehicles in North America. This includes managing the contract with the supplier and performing competitive bids as the contract term expires. This work requires working close with both the legal department and purchasing.

· Responsible for the Scan Tool Content Validation contract. This contract specifies the requirements for the content validation and is sent out every 3 years for a competitive bid which requires working with legal and purchasing.

· Lead global governance of all diagnostic content authoring teams for each region including West Europe, Southern Europe, and LATAM

· Global oversite includes the following:

  • Making sure all regional teams are meeting their diagnostic development deliverables
  • All authored content such as Data Display, System Tests, Misc. Functions Guided Diagnostics etc. follow the same format/style guide in order to maintain consistency between all teams.
  • Tracking and readiness reporting for Diagnostic Launch Readiness
  • Oversite for deployment of diagnostic content deployment to all regions that vehicle will be sold by SOPM
  • Training on how to use NOVUS, SONUS, DPIDE and wiTECH Studio

· Lead global Diagnostic Content VOR tracking and reporting

·  Responsible to make sure all VORs that are caused by incorrect/missing diagnostic content are resolved

· Responsible for managing the xPSA vehicle migration plant to wiTECH 2.0

·  Includes reauthoring of all diagnostic related content (Data Display, Actuators, System Tests, Misc. Functions etc.)

·  Includes working with ICT to make sure the proper backend systems are setup and functioning properly in order to allow Key FOB Programming, Variant Coding and other ECU required WEB services

· Secondary Responsibility for the STELLANTIS Global Diagnostics Specification

· Support Circular Economy by supplying the Standalone High Voltage Battery Application to European repair centers and e-repair centers in order to service and repair HV batteries for all xPSA battery packs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Automotive Technology.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, technical support operations, program management, business systems, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing global programs, support organizations, or technology operations.
  • Experience working with dealer networks, aftermarket solutions, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of service management, governance frameworks, KPI management, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automotive diagnostic tools, and dealer service operations.
  • Knowledge of Global Right to Repair legislation.
  • Global program management and international stakeholder leadership experience.
