Pay: $18 - $23 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PMLocation: Chesapeake, VARS Andrews of Tidewater, part of the ARS family of brands, provides HVAC and plumbing services. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Track accounts receivable and collection activities

• Investigate outstanding invoices and initiate collections or liens as needed

• Perform audits to ensure accurate invoices and allocations

• Assist technicians with residential financing approvals

• Reconcile bank statements, prepare journal entries, and handle month-end duties

• Generate and distribute financial reports and aging reports

• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

• Support basic accounts payable and receivable tasks

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (or equivalent training/education)

• Familiarity with standard accounting principles

• Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
