About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the US Army 1st Special Forces CMD HQ, 95th CA BDE Fort Bragg, NC

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.

Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide direct OT and consultative services for the H2F mental readiness program.

Address psychosocial, cognitive, physical, occupational, and environmental barriers and opportunities to prevent injury, mitigate injury risk, and facilitate rapid return to duty following injury.

Evaluate and provide solutions addressing physical readiness factors that impact Soldier performance (e.g. pushing and pulling movements, shooting, gripping and carrying load).

Liaises with the H2F team, leadership, and the installation's military treatment facility (MTF) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Surgical and Rehabilitative Services, Behavioral Health, Radiology, and Orthopedic services.

Gather H2F program data and creates unit readiness reports to identify effectiveness of H2F program against established metrics.
