About the role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Police Office (CLEO) located at Fort Irwin, CA
Ensure physical security measures are in effect in remote areas of the installation.
Liaison with local State and Department of interior in studies of endangered wildlife.
Conduct a full range of difficult and complex law enforcement activities such as surveillance, interviewing, and search and seizure.
Promote public awareness of fish, game laws and regulations.
Investigate violations of environmental and fish and game laws.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
