About the role

Contract type: 1099 contract

Overview: State of Michigan engagement staffed through Stafford Gray. The client needs a senior ServiceNow resource to own platform level architecture decisions, not just module configuration.

Responsibilities

Own platform architecture: data model, integrations, security, scalability
Guide implementation across modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM as applicable) and set platform standards
Lead technical design reviews and governance
Oversee integrations with other state systems (REST/SOAP, MID server, SSO/LDAP)
Mentor technical consultants and developers on the platform team
Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable architecture

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Significant ServiceNow experience at an architecture level, not just configuration
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
Experience across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM)
Integration experience: REST/SOAP, SSO/LDAP, MID server

Preferred Qualifications

State or local government client experience
CTA credential
