About the role

The Manager – Sales Forecasting & Service Contracts Analytics will lead the analytical capabilities that support Mopar North America revenue planning and service contract performance. The role will own the development, governance, and communication of sales revenue forecasts while providing decision-ready analysis across the Service Contracts business to strengthen growth, profitability, retention, and operational performance.

The Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team that includes Business Analysts, Reporting Analysts, and Data Scientists, integrating data preparation, business intelligence, advanced analytics, and forecasting into a coordinated operating model. The role will partner closely with Sales, Service Contracts, Finance, ICT, and other functions to translate complex data into clear outlooks, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales revenue forecasting: Own recurring short- and long-range revenue forecasts for Mopar Parts & Services, including forecast methodology, assumptions, scenarios, risks, opportunities, performance tracking, and executive communication; ensure forecasts are timely, transparent, appropriately governed, and increasingly accurate.
  • Service contracts analytics: Guide reporting and analysis across contract sales, penetration, product mix, pricing, revenue, profitability, claims experience, cancellations, renewals, retention, dealer and channel performance, and forecasting.
  • Forecast governance: Establish consistent definitions, calendars, processes, controls, and documentation; reconcile forecasts to actual results and approved financial plans; lead variance, accuracy, bias, and root-cause analysis.
  • Multidisciplinary team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Business Analysts, Reporting Analysts, Data Scientists, and related analytical talent; set clear priorities, match disciplines to business problems, and create integrated delivery plans.
  • Analytical solution delivery: Guide the team in building governed datasets, dashboards, and decision-support tools that integrate revenue forecasts, service contract performance, financial plans, and key business drivers to provide a consistent view of outlook, risks, and opportunities.
  • Insight translation: Convert complex analysis into concise business implications, quantified opportunities, recommended actions, and executive-ready narratives for leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Data quality and governance: Ensure forecasts, metrics, models, and reporting products use trusted data, approved definitions, documented logic, appropriate access controls, and repeatable validation processes.
  • Continuous improvement: Improve forecast accuracy, analytical speed, automation, usability, and adoption; reduce manual work and redundant reporting while advancing modern analytics, machine learning, and AI where they create measurable value.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, financial analysis, business intelligence, data science, decision science, or a related discipline.
  • Two or more years of experience leading analytical professionals, project teams, or cross-functional workstreams with responsibility for priorities, quality, delivery, and talent development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing sales or revenue forecasts, including assumptions, scenarios, forecast-to-actual analysis, and communication of risks and opportunities.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including understanding of revenue, volume, price, mix, margin, service contract economics, claims performance, renewals, retention, and operating performance drivers.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytical tools such as Power BI, Streamlit, Excel, SQL, Python, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis to executive, business, and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive aftersales, service contracts, extended warranties, protection products, dealer operations, sales, finance, or related commercial operations.
  • Knowledge of service contract economics and operations, including product performance, sales penetration, pricing, earned revenue, reserves, claims, cancellations, renewals, retention, and profitability.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, machine learning, scenario planning, and forecast-accuracy improvement.
  • Hands-on exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or another cloud data platform and to governed semantic or business data layers.
  • Experience managing a mixed analytics team whose responsibilities span data sourcing and validation, dashboard development, advanced analytics, and business insight generation.
