Primary Purpose
Contributes to business insights by analyzing structured data, creating standard reports, and supporting process improvements. Applies growing technical expertise to deliver accurate and actionable information for operational decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzes structured and semi-structured data to identify patterns and correlations.
- Builds recurring dashboards and reports to support operational decision-making.
- Applies basic statistical methods to evaluate business performance metrics.
- Collaborates with business teams to define reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
- Documents enhancements to existing data models and reporting processes.
- Communicates findings in clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with data quality and security standards during analysis.
- Supports process improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required: Ability to explain analytical results to business partners.
- Required: Ability to manage multiple analysis tasks independently.
- Required: Ability to recognize when data issues require deeper investigation.
- Required: Knowledge of business processes and how data supports decision-making.
- Required: Knowledge of core analytical methods and descriptive statistics.
- Required: Skill in analyzing routine data sets to identify trends or variances.
- Required: Skill in developing standard reports or dashboards.
