Dining Facility Shift Leader

Position Summary: The Dining Facility Shift Leader supports daily operations at the Warrior Restaurant by leading assigned shift activities, providing directions to team members, monitoring service quality, and helping maintain safe, clean, efficient, and customer-focused dining facility operations. This position serves as a working leader and assists management with shift coverage, task assignments, communication, and compliance with company and facility standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned shift operations and provide direction, guidance, and support to dining facility employees.
• Assign work duties, monitor performance, assist with break coverage, and communicate shift priorities to staff.
• Monitor meal service, line setup, customer service, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition procedures as assigned by management.
• Ensure food handling, safety, sanitation, and facility procedures are followed during assigned shifts.
• Report staffing concerns, supply needs, equipment issues, customer concerns, incidents, or operational problems to management in a timely manner.
• Support training and coaching of team members to promote quality service, teamwork, and compliance with company expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous dining facility, food service, cafeteria, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Previous lead, supervisory, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience as a Dining Facility Attendant with Envision Food Services is highly desirable for internal applicants.
• Ability to communicate effectively, speak and understand English, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support employees while maintaining professional conduct and dependable attendance.

Requirements:

• Must meet all company, contract, background, access, and facility requirements for working at the assigned location.
• Must complete and maintain required sanitation, safety, customer service, leadership, and company training as assigned.
• Must follow company policies, facility procedures, uniform standards, safety rules, and sanitation requirements always.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining facility environment that may include hot, cold, wet, or noisy conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or approved equipment as needed.

Work Schedule: Schedule may vary based on operational needs and may include assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage as required.
