About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
Perform advanced examinations and treatment of patients referred for consultation.
Evaluate both laboratory and clinical findings and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up care for patients.
Guide, instruct, and train residents, interns, medical students, and other professional personnel as required in ambulatory obstetrics-gynecology care.
Attend departmental and service specific conferences and lectures; and maintain current knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology through annual continuing medical education.
Work in Labor and Delivery for the delivery of infants.
