Human Resources Assistant (Full-Time)

Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Screen resumes and applications for organizational fit
- Assist with phone screening candidates and schedule interviews accordingly
- Assist with posting, editing and closing requisitions
- Drafting offer letters and new hire checklists
- Assist in preparation for HR events and attend the events as necessary (career fairs, job fairs, orientations)
- Assist with running new hire orientation to include coordinating logistics and hotel accommodations for those traveling
- Generate reports as needed
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining all files; ensuring they are always current and in order i.e., personnel, health, contractor, credentialing
- Handle daily HR administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings
- Support HR projects, audits, and administrative initiatives as needed
- Assist with data entry into HRIS system and/or other software systems being utilized
- Maintain and monitor departmental supplies; place orders as needed
- Provide daily customer service to all employees
- Monitor the HR and Benefits email inbox, answering routine questions or directing to other team members as appropriate
- Assist with processing benefit-related employee updates
- Enthusiastically support the Mission, Vision and Core Values
- Additional responsibilities or projects and duties assigned
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred; interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills; strong attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills including kindness, empathy and appreciation
- Computer and information management skills
- Experience with ADP/Lyric is a plus
- MS Office Suite;
- Ability to multi-task, work independently as well as a team; having resourcefulness to solve problems
- Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with issues
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with other work units within the Network
The pay range for this position is $47,000 - $52,000 annually and will be determined based on skills and experience.
