Syndicated Loan Servicing Specialist II
About the role
Overview
Responsible for managing day-to-day activities of direct reports in Syndicated Servicing and/or performs very complex, critical functions/tasks. Assists manager in coordinating and prioritizing day-to-day tasks/functions in Syndicated Servicing, resolving procedural and technical issues.
What You’ll Do
- Performs complex and/or non-routine administrative tasks exercising significant judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single team within Loan Operations
- Gather, interpret, and transcribe complex and non-standard information and/or related files to ensure loan boarding packages are input into core system according to bank, regulatory and investor guidelines. Documents reviewed may include loan approval forms, appraisals, title work, insurance, and all other requirements necessary to properly perfect our collateral position.
- Process complex and non-standard boarding requests, perform Quality Assurance review, and complete complex loan research and maintenance requests in compliance of Bank, regulatory and investor guidelines
- Assist Account Officers with questions regarding loan booking and loan maintenance questions
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests and issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Meet performance standards of established production and quality metrics
- Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures as proscribed
- Assist Manager in assessing training needs and ensuring procedures manuals are kept up to date and engage with Change Management as needed, based on identified gaps they may notice or additional training they may need.
- Participate in monthly one-on-ones with Managers.
- This position could be responsible for the training of other employees within the department
- Assist with pre-and-post-conversion-related activities.
- Assist with creating and updating Policies and Procedures for new and existing processes.
- Provide world-class service to internal and external clients with a sense of urgency and positive attitude
- Balance competing priorities and make sound business decisions within standard policy
- Adhere to Corporate and Loan Operations policies and procedures as prescribed
Requirements For Success
Education: College Degree preferred.
Experience: 3 years minimal experience, 5+ years preferred.
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstratable knowledge of Retail loan documentation requirements
- Basic knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
- Basic knowledge performing quality assurance reviews of various loan operations functions
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities to meet multiple deadlines
- Self-starter who takes initiative and displays advanced analytical and administrative abilities, critical thinking, communication, and organization skills
- Exemplify behaviors in alignment with the bank’s vision, mission, and culture; exhibit professionalism at all times
- Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills without direct guidance; ability to assist others with problem solving
Preferred Skills:
- AFS Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in Loan Operations/Loan Processing/Loan Administration.

This position does not manage employees
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and printers.
Physical requirements:

- Position requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- This position may require up to 25% travel.

Pay Range
