Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner/Occupational Health)

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Branch Health Clinic Groton, Groton, Connecticut. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Organize and direct the Occupational Medicine and Preventive Med program.

Supervise and evaluate Occupational Medicine personnel in the clinic at the medical treatment facility.

Inspect facilities and conducts periodic audit of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) programs for compliance with regulations.

Provide medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment according to standardized medical protocols for occupational and non-occupational illnesses.

Prescribe pharmaceuticals in compliance with DHA privileges for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
