About the role

JOB OBJECTIVE:


The Advertising Manager will support the development, execution, and optimization of advertising initiatives for the Dodge and Chrysler brands across paid, owned, and earned channels. This role requires a strong understanding of brand positioning, consumer marketing, and creative development to deliver impactful campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and business results.

The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners to ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand strategy. The role also requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of creative excellence and operational efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Campaign Management:

  • Support the development and execution of annual advertising and go-to-market plans for Dodge and Chrysler
  • Manage multiple advertising projects concurrently from briefing through launch and post-campaign evaluation
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder communications
  • Partner with media, creative, social, and production agencies to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Creative Development & Production
  • Assist in the development of integrated 360-degree advertising campaigns across digital, social, experiential, CRM, and traditional media channels
  • Review creative assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
  • Manage creative production workflows and approvals throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Coordinate adaptation and localization of creative assets for regional and market-specific needs.
  • Budget Management
  • Support annual advertising budget planning and monthly budget tracking
  • Identify opportunities for production efficiencies and cost savings without compromising creative quality
     

Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance using brand, media, and industry measurement tools
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • Develop reporting and executive summaries for key stakeholders
  • Track engagement metrics, and advertising effectiveness benchmarks
     

Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for agency partners and vendors
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product, Communications, Design, and Digital teams
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment throughout campaign planning and execution
     

Performance INDICATORS (INDICATIVE):

  • Delivery of campaigns on time and within budget
  • Achievement of campaign KPIs and brand objectives
  • Improvements in social media engagement and audience growth
  • Positive advertising performance benchmarks through industry measurement tools (iSpot and Ace Metrix)
  • Successful execution of integrated campaign launches and key brand moments
  • Continuous identification of operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
     

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Internal: Brand Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Communications, Finance, Design, Experiential / Autoshows, Media, Social, CRM and Website and Digital Teams
  • External: Current agency partners, production companies

LEVEL OF INFLUENCE & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • Recommend advertising strategies, creative approaches, and campaign optimizations
  • Influence project direction through collaboration and stakeholder alignment
  • Manage approved budget allocations and project resources
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards and campaign objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5 years of advertising, marketing, brand management, communications, or agency experience.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of consumer marketing, media, social media, and creative development.
  • Ability to lead projects from strategic briefing through execution and performance reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with advertising agencies and cross-functional business teams.
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and consumer insights.
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
