About the role

The VCP Field Process Engineer supports implementation of Value Creation Program initiatives at the dealer, Business Center, and field level. This role provides hands-on execution support, validates business case assumptions in the field, identifies roadblocks early, and helps develop scalable operational standards from pilot learnings.

Problems This Role Helps Solve:

  • VCP initiatives require field-level execution support beyond reporting and governance.
  • Dealer pilot results can vary due to staffing, local process capability, and adoption gaps.
  • Risks and issues must be identified in real time, not after monthly reporting cycles.
  • A4 needs consistent field validation to strengthen business cases and rollout decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute dealer and field pilots tied to customer retention, tires, dealer performance, pricing, eCommerce, fleet, and future A4 initiatives.
  • Conduct field observations, site assessments, process mapping, and operational validation.
  • Track pilot progress, milestone adherence, and initiative KPIs.
  • Identify root causes of execution gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support dealer training, implementation routines, and adoption of new operating practices.
  • Document lessons learned and build inputs for rollout playbooks.
  • Partner with Business Centers, field teams, dealers, and workstream owners to remove barriers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive operations, dealer operations, field operations, process improvement, or implementation roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with field teams and dealer personnel in an execution-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aftersales, service, parts, or dealer retail experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma or process-engineering certification / experience.
  • Experience supporting pilot launches, operational diagnostics, or rollout activities.
