Primary Purpose
Develops and refines sourcing strategies and inventory control methods to improve reliability and cost-effectiveness. Partners with stakeholders to align supply chain activities with business priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Leads development of sourcing strategies for critical materials.
Designs and implements advanced inventory control systems.
Conducts risk assessments for supply continuity and mitigation.
Collaborates with stakeholders on cost-reduction initiatives.
Oversees complex contract negotiations and compliance reviews.
Develops performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
Advises on technology adoption for supply chain optimization.
Supports strategic planning for global supply chain operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

Required: Typically requires 8 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Ability to anticipate downstream impacts of supply chain decisions.
Required: Ability to design and optimize supply chain solutions aligned with business needs.
Required: Ability to lead cross-functional efforts without formal authority.
Required: Knowledge of end-to-end performance measurement frameworks.
Required: Knowledge of multi-node or multi-region supply chain models.
Required: Skill in communicating complex supply chain concepts to non-technical audiences.
Required: Skill in scenario modeling and evaluation of alternative strategies.
