SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR MECHANICAL ASSESSMENT IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR MECHANICAL ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR in the Production Department Analysis & Business Manager (Code 900A), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

You will provide direct first-line supervisory direction, technical guidance, and performance management to a multidisciplinary team of mechanical assessors and trade specialists.

You will plan and coordinate assessment programs evaluating the technical adequacy, procedural compliance, and quality of nuclear mechanical overhaul and testing operations across Code 930 shops.

You will lead continuous process improvement (CPI) initiatives by analyzing cumulative quality data and deficiency reports to isolate systemic root causes and implement standardized corrective actions.

You will serve as a principal technical liaison between production shops (Shops 38 and 41), engineering codes, quality assurance departments, and shipboard military personnel
