NON NUCLEAR CONTINUING TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

You will serve as a NON-NUCLEAR CONTINUING TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR in the Preservation Shop (Code 970), Production Resources Department manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

You will spot audit trade theory/core tasks records and qualification records, for conformance with established guidelines.

You will establish metrics to identify material costs expended by each fiscal year for Overhead Expenditures/Labor Expenditures on a monthly basis.

You will maintain monthly the Code/Shop CTD Strategic POAM- courses, materials, manpower on a ten year cycle.

You will coordinate the procurement, storage, and the use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio-visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment.

You will coordinate the keeping of shop/code training plans current, and check them for adequacy.

You will maintain a training database.

You will develop, initiate, schedule, and implement programs for the development of personnel.

GS-11: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related GS-09: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
