About the role

The Business Planning Specialist, Shows, Presentations & Fleet Management is responsible for coordinating and managing the Product Design Office (PDO) Evaluation and Model Build Fleets, supporting special vehicle requests, assisting with shows and executive presentations, and serving as backup support to the Supervisor as needed.

This role provides direct exposure to Stellantis leadership, product development activities, and the vehicle design process while supporting critical operational and presentation functions within the Product Design Office.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management & Vehicle Evaluation Program

Manage and coordinate the PDO Evaluation Fleet, including:

  • Ordering and onboarding corporate fleet vehicles each model year
  • Coordinating documentation and disposal activities for retired fleet vehicles
  • Researching, sourcing, and ordering competitive evaluation vehicles
  • Managing documentation and disposition of competitive fleet assets
  • Maintaining vehicle evaluation schedules for Product Design Office personnel
  • Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, windshield repairs, accident repairs, licensing, and other vehicle service requirements
  • Monitoring fleet utilization, availability, and overall condition

Procedure 101 Administration

Ensure compliance with Procedure 101 requirements by:

  • Training new employees on evaluation vehicle policies, procedures, and responsibilities
  • Monitoring compliance with vehicle gate pass requirements
  • Establishing vehicle evaluation schedules for new employees
  • Coordinating studio-specific vehicle rotation schedules
  • Organizing PDO group ride-and-drive activities, including vehicle acquisition, preparation, logistics, and return processing

Special Vehicle Requests & Model Build Fleet Coordination

Manage special vehicle requests and model build fleet activities, including:

  • Coordinating with PVS, ESI, CVS, and other stakeholders to secure vehicles not available through corporate or competitive fleets
  • Arranging transportation and delivery logistics for requested vehicles
  • Establishing vehicle build requirements and coordinating availability with appropriate vehicle coordinators
  • Tracking vehicle locations, status, and utilization across the fleet
  • Supporting design reviews, model evaluations, and special project requirements through timely vehicle acquisition and deployment

Shows, Reviews & Executive Presentations Support

Support the planning and execution of PDO shows, presentations, and executive reviews, including:

  • Assisting with Dome events such as Design Immersion Days, Media Days, Clay Reviews, leadership presentations, and other design showcases
  • Coordinating logistical requirements including vehicle sourcing, presentation materials, furniture, audio/visual equipment, and event support services
  • Assisting with vehicle preparation, placement, staging, lighting, and presentation readiness
  • Supporting event setup, execution, and teardown activities

Supervisor Support & Operational Leadership

Provide backup support to the Supervisor and assist with daily operations, including:

  • Supporting Dome scheduling, event coordination, and facility operations
  • Assisting with vehicle staging, lighting, and audio/visual presentation requirements
  • Coordinating vehicle movement schedules and supporting SBU personnel activities
  • Facilitating transportation of vehicles from fabrication facilities, storage locations, and the Conner Center
  • Supporting executive reviews and special events as operational needs arise
  • Assisting with facility maintenance planning, repair coordination, technology upgrades, housekeeping, temperature monitoring, and creation of facility work orders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of automobiles and vehicle systems
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with personnel at all organizational levels, including senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business emphasis
  • Minimum of 2 years of business planning, fleet management, event coordination, or related experience within the automotive industry.
  • Experience supporting executive presentations, vehicle evaluations or automotive events
  • Knowledge of vehicle fleet operations, logistics coordination, and product development processes
  • Familiarity with Stellantis vehicle request and fleet management systems
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating external vendors or service providers
