Responsibilities

Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement)2. State of NV Dietitian license required.3. One year healthcare experience desirable.
