Community Support Associate
About the role
Description
The Community Support Associate (CSA) collaborates directly with individual clients and their families in the community and other related settings such as schools, summer programs, and residential programs. The CSA focuses on supporting the clinical process and achievement of the family, client, and treatment team goals. The CSA will assist clients and their families in navigating community support systems and developing self-advocacy skills. This position will assist in the observation, assessment, development, and implementation of functional behavior assessments, and crisis intervention plans. A strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and strengths-focused family-centered treatment is required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist clients with developing and achieving treatment goals
- Coordinating and delivering services in alignment with the goals of active community partnerships
- Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure continuity of care and access to holistic supports
- Provide supportive counseling to the clients and families as needed
- Help clients and their families identify and develop relationships with natural and community resources that will support goal attainment
What You’ll Need to Bring
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in human service preferred. High School diploma with 3 years experience in human services is required.
- Experience with in home services preferred.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows application is required. Must possess time management and detail-orientation skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license

Requirements
Schedule:
8-hour shift (first/second shift hours)
Pate Rate Starting at: $18.00 per hour
