About the role

Primary Purpose
Supervises trainers and technicians to deliver consistent, safe, and compliant technical training. Manages daily operations, quality, and performance while coaching staff on delivery standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assigns work, manages schedules, and monitors delivery quality and learner satisfaction within a section.
Coaches staff on facilitation skills, classroom management, and adherence to operational procedures.
Ensures documentation compliance (attendance, assessment handling, safety evidence) and resolves audit findings.
Tracks daily metrics (show rates, completion rates, incident rates) and implements corrective actions.
Conducts session observations and provides structured feedback to facilitators and technicians.
Manages consumables and labor hours to meet cost targets; approves routine purchases within limits.
Coordinates with stakeholders to address operational constraints (rooms, equipment, site access).
Supports hiring, onboarding, and cross‑training to maintain coverage and capability in the team.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education

Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Required Experience

Typically requires 3 years of related experience.

Instructional Design - Developing educational programs according to instructional theory by incorporating concepts about how people learn and how best to present instruction.
Learning Design - The framework that supports learning experiences.
Presenting/Demonstrating - Describes a product or service to the prospect and giving the customer an opportunity to verify facts and understand how it works.

Other Qualifications

This position adheres to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as required by 49 CFR Part 40, 199, and 382, respectively. Applicants must meet all DOT requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
