Primary Purpose
Oversees daily operations of measurement and regulation teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance. Supports team development and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversees daily activities of measurement and regulation teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reviews calibration schedules and verifies completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Monitors adherence to safety and regulatory standards during field operations.
  • Coordinates resources for routine service orders and emergency response.
  • Prepares operational performance reports for review by senior leadership.
  • Supports implementation of digital tools for real-time monitoring and reporting.
  • Facilitates training programs on advanced measurement technologies and safety practices.
  • Promotes continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education
  • Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
  • Required: Typically requires 3 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Required: Ability to address routine technical and personnel issues effectively.
  • Required: Ability to communicate expectations and provide clear feedback.
  • Required: Ability to direct and prioritize team activities within established guidelines.
  • Required: Knowledge of applicable safety, labor, and regulatory rules.
  • Required: Knowledge of operational measurement procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Required: Skill in coaching employees on proper technical practices.
  • Required: Skill in monitoring quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
Other Qualifications
  • Required: This position adheres to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as required by 49 CFR Part 40, 199, and 382, respectively. Applicants must meet all DOT requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
