Primary Purpose
Oversees daily logistics operations and frontline staff to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution of shipments, inventory movements, and warehouse activities. Maintains operational stability by managing schedules, resolving immediate issues, and reinforcing standard processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to proactively forecast material needs and ensure logistics strategies are aligned with overall project timelines and operational priorities.
• Supervises the implementation of transportation and delivery plans, ensuring timely and accurate arrival of materials and equipment at designated project or maintenance sites.
• Drives cost optimization initiatives by analyzing logistics workflows, identifying process inefficiencies, and negotiating favorable terms with logistics and transportation service providers.
• Monitors and reports on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensures material availability to meet project and maintenance schedules by coordinating closely with procurement and supply chain teams to resolve shortages or delays.
• Leads improvements to warehouse organization and storage practices to enhance efficiency and support operational goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

• Required: Typically requires 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Required: Ability to communicate expectations and operational priorities clearly.
• Required: Ability to guide team members in applying logistics procedures and standards.
• Required: Ability to resolve routine logistics issues using established practices.
• Required: Knowledge of common logistics performance indicators.
