Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Communicate professionally with property management, clients, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and shift activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
