About the role

Stellantis is seeking an Aftersales Optimization Lead to tackle initiatives that improve repair strategies, safety campaign execution, and Aftersales technical documentation.  

This role drives improvements in vehicle repair strategies and campaign execution by developing more efficient repair procedures, optimizing for safe and accurate campaign execution, and improving the customer’s repair experience. 

The successful candidate must be capable of evaluating and challenging repair and parts strategies, understanding vehicle architectures and service procedures, and influencing engineering and supplier teams to implement more service-efficient solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Lead the Aftersales Optimization effort, driving cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Aftersales, suppliers, and Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance (TSRC) 
  • Prioritize and manage the Aftersales Optimization studies to remove roadblocks, escalate critical issues, and track optimizations generated through optimization efforts 
  • Facilitate repair optimization studies with a focus on challenging existing repair strategies and validating the most efficient repair and parts replacement approaches 
  • Review / validate optimized repair procedures prior to publication 
  • Oversee the technical publication updates including creation of visuals and videos when needed to improve technician understanding 
  • Utilize Teamcenter CAD data to optimize number of vehicle variants / model years studied and maximize optimization read-across to additional vehicle lines or vehicle repairs 
  • Coordinate vehicle needs / availability with corporate fleet owners to ensure optimization activities remain on schedule 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related field 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive service engineering, dealership operations, technical support, technical publications, warranty, or related Aftersales functions 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working directly with engineering teams, suppliers, and supplier personnel 
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with the ability to embrace new technologies 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision 
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience as a dealership automotive technician or service advisor 
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications 
  • Experience working with dealership and/or field service systems and processes 
  • Experience developing or validating repair procedures, administration of technical training, or technical repair support 
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data, or vehicle architecture information
