Health Technician (Orthopedic)

About the Position: Serve as a Health Technician (Orthopedic) in a Medical Treatment Facility. The purpose of the position is to provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care to military personnel and their dependents. This position is located WINN Army Medical Facility in Ft. Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Prepare patients for examinations, minor procedures or clinical treatments by disrobing, draping and positioning patient in exam room.

Assist physicians with instruments, injections, dressings, medications, diagnostic studies, and biological specimens.

Clean treatment areas in between patients, ensuring that supplies and instruments/equipment are available, and properly functioning.

Maintain medical and administrative supplies.

Dispose of contaminated supplies and equipment.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
