Logistics Management Specialist

About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Provide leadership, plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations.

Independently make judgments, implement, and monitor logistical and analytical processes by interpreting policy and organizational objectives.

Maintain inventory of medical supplies to ensure Medical, Dental, and Veterinary clinics and related services never reach zero balance for required supply lines.

Analyze and improve management processes such as workflow, service support, personnel resource allocation, inventory levels, stockroom management, requisition and purchasing, and equipment recapitalization.

Serve as the organization’s Command Supply Discipline Program coordinator alternate

Manage and implement the Environment of Care program in accordance with Joint Accreditation standards.

Serve as technical advisor and consultant on organizational contracts, including Personal Services, medical/surgical supply, and facilities support contracts.

Serve as subject matter expert on the Emergency Management Committee (EMP) and advise the Chairperson on logistics related matters.
