ELECTRONICS MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

The primary purpose of this position is to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and train other technicians which troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, modify, test, calibrate and certify a variety of standard and nonstandard Electronic/Mechanical/Physical Dimensional Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).

Serves as Subject Matter Expert for a crew of mechanics engaged in the repair, modification, calibration and certification of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, modifies, tests, calibrates and certifies a variety of standard and nonstandard complex test equipment Maintains records and documents actions Provides advice and technical assistance to supported organizations Demonstrates proper work methods Communicates and demonstrates to other workers, safety practices and procedures, established safety rules and regulations and promotes a safe and clean work environment
