TPS Engineering Co-Op

Join our Team as a TPS Engineer Co-Op!  

The Role: 

We’re seeking a motivated TPS Engineer Co-Op to join our team this May - August! This TPS Engineer Co-Op offers hands-on experience in Toyota Production Systems Administration department, where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into TPS methodologies, work analysis tools, visualization and initiatives that develop a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with the TPS Administration team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!  

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Support Toyota Production System (TPS) initiatives by assisting with continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development.  

• Collect and analyze process data, identify waste, and help develop countermeasures using TPS problem-solving methods and Lean principles.  

• Participate in process observations, standard work documentation, and visual management improvements to enhance operational performance.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementation of improvement projects, training activities, and best practice sharing across manufacturing and office processes.  

• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to leadership and team members.  

• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering and safety 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0  

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering 

• Completed 2 years in undergraduate degree

Wage - $20.00 - $30.00+ per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
