Community Engaged Learning Student Coordinator
About the role
*All student employment positions on campus are covered by a negotiated contract with the Union of Grinnell Student Dining Workers (UGSDW).
The C-EL student coordinator assists the Associate Director of Community-Engaged Learning with planning and implementing classes with a community engagement component. This position is not specific to one project.
Students in the position can expect to work up to 6 hours a week.
Duties:
· Liaising with community partners
· Supporting faculty with logistical aspects to implement their classes
· Updating project documents
· Assisting Faculty and Staff in designing new C-EL initiatives
Preferred skills:
· Excellent social and communication skills
· Adaptability
· Ability to work well independently
· Ability to build and connect communities
· Be proficient with Microsoft Office and/or other relevant technologies
