Project Manager

Job Purpose: The IT Project Manager's role is to provide project management across RJW to drive process efficiency initiatives. These include software implementations, upgrades, and migrations to help streamline, automate, and simplify processes. This is a hands-on position that requires strong skills in project management and change management across cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform end to end Project Management activities from project initiation & planning through execution & delivery, with status reporting, risk & issue management, and client expectation management
• Work with the technical leads, BA's, and project team members to document requirements, identify resources, and develop detailed project and resource plans
• Manage scope, schedule, and dependency and ensure quality of project deliverables
• Identify issues and risks and work with project team to develop mitigation plans and provide timely escalation
• Provide regular transparency, status reports, and escalate risks and issues impacting project delivery
• Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Project Management skills including organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills
• Detail oriented, able to multitask, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills; Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong change management skills
• Ability to influence decision makers and communicate & persuade at all management levels; thrive in a cross-functional environment
• Action-oriented, "can do" attitude demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions

Must also demonstrate a sense of urgency, take initiative, sense of ownership of their work, strong team player, constant desire to improve, positive attitude, and willing to learn and experience a new environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of project management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
• Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies
• Prior experience with SaaS procurement and implementation
• Cross-functional experience with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in IT.

Language Skills Sets:

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Mathematical Skills:

• College-level math skills required.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong reasoning ability required, ability to develop and understand complex logic flows.

Computer Skills:

• Advanced computer skills required.

Physical Demands:

• Light lifting required.
• Mobility within office environment.
• Requires extensive visual contact with computer screens and data input.
• Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
• Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion.
• Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
• Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
• Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.
• Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
• Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud.
