About the role

Primary Purpose
Manages complex projects by integrating technical requirements with business objectives. Drives continuous improvement and ensures compliance with industry standards to achieve strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures projects are managed safely and efficiently with proper authorizations and assigned resources to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
Leads engagement with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
Collaborates with various stakeholders with a focus on driving efficiencies and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Implements quality standards, reviews deliverables, and communicates variances.
Evaluates and approves feasibility studies, technical risk assessments, and value engineering outcomes.
Reviews contracts to ensure vendors and suppliers uphold contract terms.
Develops technical proposals, identifies new leads, and participates in business development with existing clients.
Develops and maintains advanced implementation roadmaps for complex projects, identifying interdependencies, decision points, and escalation triggers.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education

Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Required Experience

Typically requires 8 years of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to independently manage complex gas infrastructure projects end-to-end.
Ability to mentor less experienced project managers.
Ability to resolve complex project challenges using sound technical judgment.
Advanced knowledge of gas transmission and distribution systems and construction methods.
Knowledge of integrity management, environmental, and safety requirements.
Skill in balancing regulatory compliance, safety, cost, and operational constraints.
Skill in influencing contractors and internal stakeholders.
