What you will be doing

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Ensure food is properly prepared, presented, and served in a timely manner.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking stations, and equipment.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.

• Properly store, label, and rotate food products following FIFO procedures.

• Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen inventory as needed.

• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.

• Work collaboratively with the culinary team and restaurant management.

• Follow assigned schedules and maintain reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred.

• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.

• Food Handler Certification preferred or ability to obtain one.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed.

Schedule

• Part-time position.

• Flexible scheduling based on business needs.

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
