About the role

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/SERVICES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.

Lead extensive data and feasibility analyses to identify risk areas, mitigate software failures, and evaluate new IT solutions.

Research the adoption of emerging technologies to advance enterprise capabilities while ensuring the application of cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework policies, and structured service management principles throughout the technology lifecycle.

Independently lead multiple information management projects and teams by prioritizing tasks and resources, budgets, and ensuring strict adherence to engineering and service design standards while delivering status briefings to senior stakeholders.

Perform comprehensive needs analyses to identify opportunities for improved business processes, consulting with customers to define functional systems requirements, scope, and cost estimates as a service relationship manager.

Provide advanced technical leadership, authoritative advice, and mentorship to staff and management regarding database management, life-cycle system development, unprecedented software problem resolution, and service transition processes.

There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
