About the role

Please note: There is no pay associated with this position. This position serves as Without Compensation Research Statistical Assistant within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden.

Duties include but are not limited to: The Research Assistant may: Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of clinical research studies. Conduct literature reviews and assist with preparation of research summaries, protocols, abstracts, and manuscripts. Assist with data collection, data entry, data quality review, and maintenance of study records. Support screening and tracking of research participants, as permitted by study protocols and applicable requirements. Assist with preparation of regulatory, institutional review board, and study documentation. Collaborate with investigators and multidisciplinary research teams. Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on assigned activities. Perform other research-related duties consistent with the individual's training and the needs of the study program. Work Schedule: Full-time (Without Compensation)
