About the role

This position is limited to employees who are in the Customer Service and Gas Operations / Distribution divisions.

Primary Purpose
Provides analytical support for cost and schedule performance, helping identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Ensures project control documentation is accurate and supports efficient project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides cost tracking report and progress validation for milestone payments and change orders.
  • Performs monitoring tasks to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, flagging concerns for escalation.
  • Conducts earned value management (EVM) analysis to assess cost and schedule performance.
  • Conducts cost forecasting and cash flow analysis to support budgeting and funding requirements.
  • Contributes to the implementation of standardized project control procedures to enhance project execution across teams.
  • Assists in identifying risks related to cost and schedule performance.
  • Communicates moderately complex project information to stakeholders.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives for project control workflows.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education
  • Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
  • Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Required: Ability to apply standard controls to moderately complex project elements.
  • Required: Ability to explain project control concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
  • Required: Ability to manage assigned project control tasks with limited guidance.
  • Required: Knowledge of baseline management and change documentation principles.
  • Required: Knowledge of common construction project control practices, including cost tracking and schedule monitoring.
  • Required: Skill in analyzing basic variances using established analysis methods.
  • Required: Skill in preparing routine cost, schedule, or progress reports.
