Health Technician (Orolaryngology)

About the Position: Positions are with Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Surgery Otorhinolaryngology Service, Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Perform diagnostic and treatment support procedures for the medical care of patients with injuries, disorders and diseases of the ear, nose and throat.

Provide customer service by responding to or forwarding calls and/or injuries in a timely manner.

Assist in pre-operative care of patients.

Use automated systems to register and schedule patient appointments.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
