Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT)

About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. "Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. This position is located at the Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment incentive MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates.

Receives requests in order of priority from physicians and other health care providers.

Assists the Radiologist during CT guided biopsy, aspiration or injection procedures.

Assists the department to maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements such as the American College of Radiology (ACR), Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the Joint Commission (JC).

Performs a variety of routine and non-routine complex radiographic examinations. Receives patient through specific identifiers in accordance with established procedures.

Determine critical and emergency CT priority scans order based on the severity of the patient’s condition.

Ensures patients’ forms are completed, signed and scanned into the PACS system.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
