Dentist (General Practice-Dentistry)

About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Fort Hood. Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Performs comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, diagnosis, restorative procedures, and surgical treatments such as extractions.

Provides periodontal care, including prophylaxis, deep scaling, and root planing.

Manages patients with complex behavioral challenges and coordinates referrals to specialists when advanced care is needed.

Educates patients through group counseling on oral hygiene, tobacco cessation, and nutrition.

Mentors junior dentists and dental staff, supporting their clinical development.

Documents performance data, dental records, consultation requests, and other clinical activities in the approved information management system.
